Garreffa to mete out advice for meat lovers
COOKING meat is a work of art. For those of you who’d like to up your meat cooking game, Vince Garreffa – also known as the "Prince of Flesh" – is now running his own cooking classes and meat workshops at Mondo Butcher retail store in Inglewood.
A man with great passion for local produce and cooking, Vince’s intention is to teach passionate foodies about meat and share his knowledge and recipes.
You will get to learn some butcher secrets, how to buy good-quality meat, how to prepare it, how to cut it, how to cook it, how to carve it and how to save it when you overcooked/undercooked it. Yes, you could literally save your meat even if you have screwed up the cooking process.
Additionally, you will also gain some basic knowledge in selecting the right wine to complement your dish, meat and food storing, side dishes preparation, as well as kitchen hacks - 10-minute wonder dishes and $2 budget meals that actually taste good.
