LS NATIONALS

THE sheer number of very quick street and race cars being built with LS power never ceases to amaze us, which makes us wonder why the LS1 Nationals concept, which ran successfully at Heathcote Park Raceway a decade or so ago, has died off. In any case, the idea is back as the LS Nationals on 10 December, this time at South Coast Raceway in Portland, Victoria. While Portland is a long haul for anyone who doesn’t live in Victoria or SA, it is a sweet little track and well worth the road trip. For more info, check out southcoastraceway.com.
