The professional make-up balance

How do you find balance in how you wear your make-up in the workplace or for your own business?

Here at Style Magazine we have some flexibility, as comes with the nature of the job, but not everyone is so lucky.

You may find yourself in a position at work where you feel experimentation with new make-up trends may not “fit in” with the culture of your workplace or business.

Here are some tips on how to liven up your make-up without overdoing it.

One of the beauties of eyeshadow is how versatile it is.

You can go all out with bright colours for the evening and tone it down for the workplace, while still using some adventurous colours.

On-trend right now is coloured mascara and eyeliner.

While you may or may not be able to get away with bright eyeliner in your business, mascara is more subtle yet still interesting.

Last summer saw a trend of brightly coloured lipsticks sweep the nation, with many colours against the norm.

While going out of vogue for some, deep purples and orange tints are still worn and are a little more subtle than bright yellow, for example.
