GREEN TEABAG EYE PATCHES

Step 1. Soak two green teabags in a glass of hot water for five min­utes.

Step 2. Re­move the teabags from the hot water and squeeze to re­move ex­cess water.

Step 3. Place the teabags into the fridge for ap­prox­i­mately 15 to 20 min­utes. Step 4. Cleanse your face with cool water and pat dry. Step 5. Lie down and place the chilled teabags un­der your eyes. Leave in place for 15 to 20 min­utes.

Al­ter­na­tively: Take teabags from the hot water and place into cool water (rather than the fridge). Then, squeeze the water out and place them un­der your eyes.

GREEN TEA STEAM FA­CIAL

Step 1. Boil water and pour it into a large bowl.

Step 2. Take a green teabag, cut it open, and empty the con­tents into the hot water.

Step 3. Take a towel and place it over your head. Bend over the bowl, mak­ing sure your face isn’t very close to the water but is close enough to feel the steam. Stay un­der the towel for five min­utes.

GREEN TEA AND PLAIN YO­GHURT FACE MASK

Plain yo­gurt is packed full of vi­ta­min D, cal­cium and pro­tein, mak­ing it a great mois­turiser. It is gen­tle on sen­si­tive skin and helps re­duce blem­ishes, acne, sun­burns while the le­mon juice in this recipe acts as a deep cleanser.

In­gre­di­ents:

◆ 1 green teabag ◆ 2 tblsp plain Greek yo­ghurt ◆ 1 tsp le­mon juice Step 1. Take a green teabag, cut it open and put leaves into a bowl. Step 2. Add yo­ghurt and le­mon juice to bowl. Mix the in­gre­di­ents to­gether un­til they are well com­bined. It should look like thick white cream with lots of green flecks. Step 3. Us­ing a fa­cial mask, brush or spat­ula, ap­ply the paste onto your face. Step 4. Leave the mix­ture on your skin for 25 to 30 min­utes. Step 6. Wash your face with cold water and pat your face dry with a towel.

GREEN TEA FA­CIAL MIST In­gre­di­ents:

◆ 2 cups of brewed green tea ◆ Cooled water ◆ A few drops of es­sen­tial oil of your choice (op­tional) ◆ A clean spray bot­tle

Step 1. Pour cooled brewed tea into the clean spray bot­tle. Step 2. Pour water into spray bot­tle to water it down a bit. Step 3. Add a few drops of your favourite es­sen­tial oil. Step 4. La­bel bot­tle and store in the fridge to cool.
