Don’t feel guilty for consulting Dr Google

Sunday Herald Sun - Body and Soul - - NEWS -

Looking for health information online can actually improve your relationship with your real-life GP, a new study published in the British Journal of General Practice has revealed. This is because it can help you to better understand your symptoms as well as the doc’s eventual diagnosis, making the exchange a whole lot smoother. Researchers also found online searches boosted a patient’s confidence in their doctor. Of course, once you’ve consulted Dr Google, make sure you do follow up with a GP appointment.
