FORMER MasterChef con­tes­tant and cook­book au­thor Mar­ion Grasby is lead­ing a culi­nary tour to Viet­nam for the chil­dren’s char­ity Va­ri­ety in Oc­to­ber.

High­lights of the nine-day tour in­clude cook­ing classes in Hanoi with the city’s top chef, Madam Anh Tuyet, and at the Hoa Sua Vocational Train­ing School, where dis­ad­van­taged youth learn hos­pi­tal­ity skills.

Guests will also dine at the 400-year-old Dinh Bang Com­mu­nal House and help leave a last­ing legacy by build­ing a kitchen for a re­mote Viet­namese kinder­garten.

Prices start from $3250 in­clud­ing re­turn air­fares from Mel­bourne to Hanoi, air­port trans­fers, meals and ac­com­mo­da­tion, but par­tic­i­pants also have a min­i­mum fundrais­ing goal of $3000.
