Variety in Vietnam
FORMER MasterChef contestant and cookbook author Marion Grasby is leading a culinary tour to Vietnam for the children’s charity Variety in October.
Highlights of the nine-day tour include cooking classes in Hanoi with the city’s top chef, Madam Anh Tuyet, and at the Hoa Sua Vocational Training School, where disadvantaged youth learn hospitality skills.
Guests will also dine at the 400-year-old Dinh Bang Communal House and help leave a lasting legacy by building a kitchen for a remote Vietnamese kindergarten.
Prices start from $3250 including return airfares from Melbourne to Hanoi, airport transfers, meals and accommodation, but participants also have a minimum fundraising goal of $3000.
