THE aroma alone should guar­an­tee a big roll up to Syd­ney’s sec­ond an­nual Cake Bake and Sweets Show.

Held at the Syd­ney Show­ground over the week­end of June 12 to 14, the show (above) will bring to­gether more than 30 do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional pas­try chefs, pro­fes­sional bak­ers, cake artists and celebri­ties. Among the at­trac­tions – a walk-in gallery of cake art, in­clud­ing an ed­i­ble Luna Park and other Syd­ney land­marks.

The Aus­tralian Cake Dec­o­rat­ing Cham­pi­onships will be judged at the show, fea­tur­ing hun­dreds of en­tries vy­ing for more than $12,000 in cash and prizes.

The Healthy Bak­ing Theatre will demon­strate how you can have your cake and eat it too. For those who pre­fer their sweets more in­dul­gent, Amer­i­can duo South­ern Girl Desserts will be mak­ing their first ap­pear­ance at the show to pro­mote their mas­ter­pieces.

All stage demon­stra­tions are in­cluded in the ticket price of $67 for a three-day pass, or $57 on­line. One-day passes cost $26 when pur­chased on­line, or $30 at the gate.
