ALL WELL AND GOODNESS
WAYANA RESORT AND SPA
ith wellness tourism estimated to be worth around the $500 billion mark and rising every month, it’s perhaps unsurprising that there’s now an official Global Wellness Day to mark our new-found passion for all things health-related, and to continue to raise awareness of the benefits it can bring. Taking place annually (this year on June 9) the not-for-profit day will be officially celebrated in more than 100 countries, across more than 5000 different locations. And given the fact that Australians are ranked as one of the top growth markets in the wellbeing realm, there’s handily a whole raft of new travel offerings with a wellness slant that will allow us to look and feel better, both physically and spiritually. Following on from its spa renovation, its luxe RIMBA Jimbaran property has devised a series of activities and offers to pamper weary travellers, while getting a cultural fix at the same time, pairing a special three-night wellbeing package with a new Bali Cultural Experience tour. AYANARESORT.COM
