IN THE MODELLING world, Elle Macpherson is the pioneer. She turned what could have been a bright but brief career based on a physique so impressive it earned its own nickname, “The Body”, into a business that has spanned more than three decades, culminating in last month’s launch of her new line, Elle Macpherson Body.

“It’s been an incredible journey, so fulfilling, so interesting,” she says.

At 52, she is mulling over some of life’s big questions, such as what she would like her legacy to be: “It would be something about being a wise guide for my children, and having courage.

“I am asked more profound questions, more and more; I am still refining them with my own heart.”
