Sunday Herald Sun - Stellar - - Delicious on Sunday - BY MIKE BENNIE

AIRLIE VALLEY BANK PINOT YARRANOIR 2016, $21 This medium weight wine from Victoria has a touch of spice mixed with sweet fruit and savoury characters. With this much flavour, it ticks plenty of boxes. Just perfect with these dishes.

CALABRIABIN AGLIANICO PRIVATE 2015, $15 Aglianico is a southern Italian grape variety and typically shows with rich, dark fruit flavour but brisk acidity that keeps the wine perky and fresh. This drop, from NSW Riverina area, is a cracking rendition and brilliant with roast dinners.

LETHBRIDGEAGLIANICO$45 From Heathcote,2015, Victoria, this is a fantastic, medium-bodied red. It is spicy, showing red fruits and sweet earthiness, and has the ability to draw you back to the glass again and again. It will act as the final seasoning to these roasts.
