PURIFY SKIN ON THE GO WITH SUPERFOOD--INFUSED FACE WIPES

Sunday Herald Sun - Stellar - - Contents -

Cleansing wipes soften up with superfood infusions.

The introduction of disposable wipes in 1960 ushered in a new beauty era that allowed women to freshen up on the run. But while they’ve remained one of the more practical products a woman can have in her handbag, they’ve only recently been updated with sophisticated formulations and star ingredients.

Today’s cleansing wipes boast a variety of gentle, rinse-free cleansing agents and antioxidants, such as green tea, caffeine and aloe vera, while those containing charcoal target deeper impurities.

Far from harshly removing make-up, these one-hit wonders are more delicate than previous versions, explains Linda Riddell, Natio’s national trainer.

“The infusion of natural botanicals like chamomile ensures skin isn’t stripped of essential moisture. Quality wipes remove impurities while effectively caring for even delicate skin,” she says.

Both popularity and variety in the market has surged at 10 per cent, with wipes now able to soothe, balance ph, exfoliate and mattify skin, and even act as a vitamin-c infused brightener.
