The Stellar trial Sugaring

Sunday Herald Sun - Stellar - - Beauty -

It may sound like something you do with icing, but sugaring is actually beauty’s latest trend in hair removal. Compared to traditional waxing, the formula is applied at room temperature and takes the form of a treacly, malleable mixture that’s free of nasty chemicals. Once applied in the same direction as hair growth, sugaring removes strands at the root but is far gentler on skin.

Ina Clow, owner of Sydney’s Ciao Bella salon, trains practitioners in sugaring, and cites permanent hair reduction as the procedure’s core benefit. Each session lasts from four to six weeks and regrowth becomes finer and sparser after three months. Clow advises four- to seven-day growth for best results, and following up with a mud bath appointment to detox impurities caused by the removed follicle. where to go...
