JIM BARRY ASSYRTIKO
2016, $35 Hailing from the Clare Valley, this is the first example of this crisp, saline Greek white grape variety made in Australia. It’s beautiful to drink, fine and frisky, bright with lemony tang. Outstanding with moussaka and kasundi-spiced salads.

ROSÉ GRIS DE GRIS 2016, $12 Wow, this is incredible value. This fetchingly pretty rosé sits in the dry and savoury camp, and tastes like an adult version of watermelon juice. That said it has enough gravitas to complement the hearty, wintry vegetable dishes on these pages.
