You were a contestant on The Biggest Loser, and then host. Is it nice to just watch those workouts, and not actually do them?
Returning as host was incredible. But I will admit I actually miss that intense, all or nothing kind of training. Now I have to pay someone to make me sweat like that!
Do you ever have traumatic flashbacks involving burpees?
I won’t lie, burpees are my least favourite exercise. I still do them, I just don’t have a trainer trying to sit on me like when I was on the show.
As a constant traveller, what’s the one thing we’d always find in your carryon?
A pair of big fluffy socks.
You will be running the Sydney Harbour 10km next week. True or false: the first 9.5kms are the worst, and then it’s fine?
False! I think the whole 10 will be a struggle, but I focus on putting one step in front of the other to get me to the end. Fiona Falkiner runs the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10km on July 9.
