Copper bell extensions

Sunday Herald Sun - Stellar - - Beauty -

On-trend haircuts such as the lob and pixie come and go, but cascading waves never date. For a faux head of Rapunzellike tresses, copper bell (or micro bead) hair extensions don’t use glue, heat or rough pulling. Instead, hair is applied individually to each strand, creating a softer, more supple look.

Each strand of real hair is attached inside a copper clip, which is in turn threaded to an individual’s roots, close to the skull. There are a multitude of colours and styles to choose from and they are best applied post-foil colour, but before all-over colour, for an optimum match. The extensions can then be re-applied with regrowth every 8–10 weeks.
