ANGOVESROSÉ 2016, ORGANIC$16 Made from organic shiraz grapes, this strawberry-kissed, gently sweet yet refreshing rosé has great character. I like it best as a way to refresh the palate after a hearty pasta, whipping the mouth into shape for the next bite.

TURON2016, $30 CHARDONNAYA youngergeneration producer working with cool crisp fruit from the bucolic Adelaide Hills, this is a wonderful chardonnay that holds bright, crunchy acidity in its stone fruit, melon juiciness. It’s ideal across a range of pasta dishes. Fun to drink too.

ARFION CHARDONNAY 2016, $35 From an artisan producer making soulful wines from Yarra Valley vineyards, this is one of those memorable drops that delivers a silky texture, cool, clean fruit flavour, a touch of savouriness, and general deliciousness. It’s an absolute stunner.
