PARE BACK YOUR COSMETICS CASE WITHTH PRODUCTS FOCUSED ON MULTI-TASKINGKING
Minimalism is the spirit of the times and our make-up bags are in line for a cull. But in the world of cosmetics where more is more and hoarding is rife, how can we pare back but still reap results? The answer lies with multi-taskers.
“There’s definitely a desire for high-quality products that do more – whether that’s multipurpose or added benefits,” says Sephora training manager Angelique Hogan.
The beauty industry’s biggest names and cult products help you do more with less. The M.A.C Strobe Cream moisturises and highlights, while IT Cosmetics CC+ cream gives coverage, SPF protection, radiance and hydration in one.
Luxury cosmetics house Dior embraces versatility with its latest autumn/winter 2017 collection, featuring both an eye and lip duo and a blush-highlighter hybrid. YSL has also added to its Touche Éclat stable, launching a white version of the iconic multi-use highlighter.
While you’re at it, make your existing products work harder. “The pink lid is so chic right now, so using a pink balm or lipstick as a cheek colour and on eyelids is a great example,” says Hogan.
