ALL Western Bulldogs fans want for Christmas is another premiership.

More than 1500 festive fans gathered to see the players train at Whitten Oval before Christmas. Instead of Sons of the

West, carols rang out over the PA system as players did a light session before a sea of red, white and blue.

Pat Hodgson, 89, from Seddon, has been coming to training with her daughter Jenny, every week for the past 38 years.

She hopes her beloved Dogs can go back to back.

“Oh my Lord we couldn’t believe we won this year, still can’t believe it,” Mrs Hodgson said.

Premiership star Matthew Boyd said he noticed more at the session than last year.

“I suppose that will happen with all the things we do throughout the year, we’ve got great support,” he said. The Dogs will embark on a Surf Coast training camp and return to preseason in early January.
