New entry at Tanderrum Bridge
The Australian Open and Melbourne CBD have quite literally become closer with a new entry point at Tanderrum Bridge, providing a seamless link from Birrarung Marr to Melbourne Park. Tennis fans will be geared up to experience Australian Open 2017 in a whole new way, getting “fan ready” at the bridge entry with face paint to support their favourite players and to map out their day.
The Rod Laver Arena forecourt entrance is no longer open for the general public.
Australian Open ticket holders can take a free tram shuttle on route 70 from the CBD to Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena.
Take services to Richmond, mond, Flinders St and Jolimont stations, all within walking distance of Melbourne Park.
A taxi rank is located on the north side of Olympic Boulevard, adjacent to Grand Slam Oval.

Designated areas on the north side of Olympic Boulevard.
For people with a disability or special needs, a zone is on Olympic Boulevard out the front of Hisense Arena.
Yarra Park via Gate 3 for day and night sessions and Gate 5 for day sessions only.
