By the Book
THE smash hit musical Book Of Mormon opened at the Princess Theatre last night with the show’s creators TREY
PARKER and MATT STONE attending — and admitting relief that they could sit back and watch, rather than worry about the show.
Book of Mormon has already taken London and New York by storm, with Melbourne hosting the Australian premiere.
The event brought the show’s Australian super fans to the red carpet.
ROB MILLS arrived dressed in character (hinting perhaps for an understudy role) and toting a Book of Mormon. Today’s LISA WILKINSON admitted to having seen the show twice in New York and twice in London, although jetlag ruined her first New York show.
“I think I nodded off and missed a scene or two,” she said.
HAMISH BLAKE and ZOE FOSTER
BLAKE stepped out for the first time since announcing they were expecting their second child. Bachelorette star GEORGIA LOVE revealed she was rapidly turning her beau LEE ELLIOTT into a musical theatre fan.
“Out first real date after the show ( Bachelorette) finished was at night at Kinky Boots — he loved it,” she said.
Radio babe SAM FROST arrived with a mate, not a date, after recently separating from her boyfriend of 18 months
SASHA MIELCZAREK. Also attending were Mad Max director GEORGE MILLER, ANDY
LEE and REBECCA HARDING, RHONDA BURCHMORE, LIVINIA NIXON, JANE BUNN, LARRY EMDUR, OLYMPIA VALANCE, JEANNE PRATT
and PETER HELLIAR.
