HE was the hard man of the AFL who won Sydney a premiership but Barry Hall has been turned into a cuddly teddy bear by his impending fatherhood.

“I’ll change the nappies,” Hall said. “They can spew on me, poo on me, wee on me, whatever they want to do. I’m ready. I’ve been ready for years. I just want to see his face. We don’t know if it’s a boy yet, but I say ‘him’ because I hope it is.”

Hall not only wants a boy but three more babies with partner, former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant. The two met on the set of I’m A Celebrity ... Get me Out Of Here! in South Africa two years ago.

But the romance didn’t begin until the middle of last year. Hall had split from his wife of three years, Sophie Raadschelder, and Brant ended her engagement to personal trainer Warren Riley after accusations of an affair with NRL player Beau Ryan.

“Barry is going to be the perfect father,” Brant said.
