Bourke St brother in court

THE younger brother of ac­cused Bourke St killer Dim­itri­ous Gar­ga­soulas has made an un­ex­pected ap­pear­ance in a Melbourne court charged with eight of­fences.

An­gelo Gar­ga­soulas, 26, has been charged with pos­sess­ing a con­trolled weapon, pos­sess­ing the drug ice, as­sault with a knife, un­law­ful as­sault, tres­pass and tres­pass with in­tent to as­sault.

He was also charged with dam­ag­ing a mo­bile phone and a glass door worth $600 com­bined.

The new charges were laid yes­ter­day and he ap­peared at Melbourne Mag­is­trates Court but made no ap­pli­ca­tion for bail.

He was re­manded in cus­tody to reap­pear on July 19 for a fil­ing hear­ing.
