Plunge deaths shock

A SEVEN-year-old girl has been trau­ma­tised see­ing the af­ter­math of a tragic sky­div­ing ac­ci­dent in which two men plunged to their death in her front­yard.

The girl was at home and had to be coun­selled af­ter see­ing the bod­ies soon af­ter they crashed into her fam­ily’s prop­erty about 85km south­west of Syd­ney shortly af­ter 2pm yes­ter­day.

Po­lice and emer­gency ser­vices raced to Wilton Park Rd, Wilton af­ter a call from one of the girl’s rel­a­tives and found two men, one in his 60s and one in his 20s, dead at the scene. One was a Syd­ney-based sky­div­ing in­struc­tor, the other a Sin­ga­porean na­tional.

Chase Stephen­son, a coowner of the prop­erty, said his seven-year-old daugh­ter had been trau­ma­tised at the sight of the bod­ies.
