Artistry in picking one at Caulfield

Sunday Herald Sun - - News -

WANT a tip, based on some sound reasoning for the Caulfield Cup in 13 days?

Let me introduce you to a 17th-century Dutch painter named JOHANNES VERMEER who specialised in interior scenes of middle-class life before dying broke aged 43.

These days he has a namesake — a four-year-old Irish stallion by the allconquering Galileo, trained by AIDAN O’BRIEN and to be ridden by RYAN MOORE.

You will find him working very nicely at the Werribee quarantine centre. Oh, and he’s part-owned by LLOYD WILLIAMS.
