won’t ride again. Miller was shocked when his licence was revoked by Racing and Wagering Western Australia.
RWWA said Miller was “declared unable to ride as a result of medical advice”. Miller said his heart had been broken and he would never set foot on a racetrack again.
He finished second at his last ride at Pinjarra last Thursday. The veteran has won most of WA’s feature races in his time, including the 2000 Railway Stakes on finished off nicely for fifth over 1440m. Next start over more ground.

I am a big fan of @pvlandys but to suggest a restricted entry race, no matter what the prize money should have G1 status is illogical based on the precedent of Magic Millions, Inglis races etc. having no status, Everest is the same. Nothing to do with date clash. Nick Williams @NCW717
