THE Brighton home of late North Melbourne star and coach has been listed by his son, following the champ’s death in January. McKenzie played 130 games for the Kangaroos from 1944-51, winning the best and fairest in his third season. He also coached the club from 1966-70, and later spent 35 years at Carlton as assistant coach and general manager. He and his wife, who died five years ago, bought the three-bedroom townhouse at 1/708 Hampton St in 1991 for $300,000, according to CoreLogic. Their real estate agent son, from JP Dixon Brighton, said he was emotional about selling the single-level pad, which has a price guide of $1.4m-$1.5m and a December 1 auction date.
