Heat a large frying pan on medium-high. Add olive oil. Fry patties on 1 side for about 5 minutes. Turn and cook for 5 minutes. Spread brown onion over patties. Add remaining Bragg Liquid Amino Seasoning and enough water (about 1 to 2 cups) to come halfway up the sides of patties. Cover. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes or until some liquid has evaporated and onions are tender.
Serve on buns or bread with tomatoes, rocket, red onion and your favourite sauces. I like to use mayonnaise and my jalapeno relish.
Bragg Liquid Amino Seasoning is made from soybeans. Agave sweetener is made from the Mexican agave plant. Both are available from health-food stores.
