With one hand on the back of a chair, start in a plié in first po­si­tion, heels lifted high and knees over your toes. Straighten your left leg, keep­ing that heel high as you lift your right knee to the side and bring your big toe to touch the side of your left knee. Lower back to first po­si­tion, try­ing not to let the heel of the sup­port­ing leg drop. Re­peat on the other leg.

15-20 reps each leg.

Un­leash your in­ner bal­le­rina and cre­ate long, lean mus­cles at the barre (or chair!)
