Build great up­per-body strength with noth­ing more than a bar and your own body weight. This is the ul­ti­mate ex­er­cise for achiev­ing toned shoul­ders and arms. If you’re look­ing for an ex­tra chal­lenge, try do­ing the set with your legs el­e­vated on a bench. Dips are an ef­fec­tive and sim­ple ex­er­cise for the tri­ceps. These are dif­fi­cult mus­cles to work, but strength­en­ing them is the key to toned, lean arms.
