GREEN OFFICES MAKE FOR HAPPIER WORKERS

Sunday Mail - Body and Soul - - FRONT PAGE -

Plants in the workplace make staff happier and more productive than those who work in minimalist spaces without any greenery. Researchers from Europe and Australia found that productivity jumped up by 15 per cent when pared-back offices were primped with plants.

Over the course of several weeks working in greener spaces, staff of large commercial spaces in the UK and the Netherlands reported higher levels of air quality, improved powers of concentration and a general increase in workplace satisfaction.
