“I’VE LEARNT NOT TO BE TOO HARD ON MYSELF”
Lifestyle presenter and health ambassador Sophie Falkiner discusses turning 40, and shares her tips for achieving balance and wellbeing. By Mark Brook
Sophie Falkiner likes to keep herself busy. In between working as a TV host and an event MC, she’s an ambassador for health and beauty brands Bioglan and Skin Doctors, and has also completed a course in nutrition.
Surprisingly, the mum of two and selfconfessed “nerd” admits that health and fitness weren’t always a priority. It wasn’t until Falkiner reached her 30s that she realised how genetically blessed she was and that “as you get older, things become harder”. Here, she reveals how she feels about turning 40 and staying in shape. “I was one of those kids who wasn’t allowed margarine, I had fresh milk out of the bottle, was never allowed cordial and was only allowed a treat on Fridays – that was it.
