These expert tips will keep your make-up picture-perfect from sunrise to sunset
If you’re like me, chances are you don’t have time to continually reapply your makeup during the day. When I do wear it, it’s usually on my face by 6.30am and ideally it would still be there when I take it off before bed. However, I’ve learnt that unless I use the right products in the right order, most of it slides off my face by lunchtime.
Erin Voyer is an expert when it comes to make-up with staying power. For the past 18 years, she’s worked in the TV industry as a hairdresser and make-up artist and has learnt many great tricks along the way. Here, she reveals how to make your look last. The all-important first step is to prep your skin. “Keeping skin clean, exfoliated and moisturised is the key to foundation staying on,” Voyer says. “Foundation will go patchy, especially on areas that have a build up of dead skin.”
Before you reach for your foundation, apply a layer of primer. “This will create a perfect canvas for the foundation as it balances
