Christina Aguil­era and Jes­sica Simp­son both strug­gled to lose weight af­ter the birth of their first chil­dren. The for­merly tiny pop­stars have found it hard to main­tain a healthy rou­tine in the past, re­sult­ing in fluc­tu­at­ing weight.

Af­ter the births of their sec­ond chil­dren, they both vowed they wouldn’t let the scales creep up and would lose the baby weight healthily.

Simp­son is a spokesper­son for Weight Watch­ers, and fol­lowed its point sys­tem plan, which in­volves weekly meet-ups to boost morale and sup­port, to shed 22kg. Aguil­era, who lost 20kg, does a mix of yoga and box­ing to keep trim, and fol­lows a clean, vi­ta­min-rich diet that in­cludes berries, av­o­cado and tur­key ba­con for break­fast and a chicken breast salad with­out dress­ing for lunch.

To­day, both stars look in in­cred­i­ble shape and enjoy the oc­ca­sional cheat meal or glass of wine, be­fore go­ing straight back to their healthy rou­tines.
