Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson both struggled to lose weight after the birth of their first children. The formerly tiny popstars have found it hard to maintain a healthy routine in the past, resulting in fluctuating weight.
After the births of their second children, they both vowed they wouldn’t let the scales creep up and would lose the baby weight healthily.
Simpson is a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and followed its point system plan, which involves weekly meet-ups to boost morale and support, to shed 22kg. Aguilera, who lost 20kg, does a mix of yoga and boxing to keep trim, and follows a clean, vitamin-rich diet that includes berries, avocado and turkey bacon for breakfast and a chicken breast salad without dressing for lunch.
Today, both stars look in incredible shape and enjoy the occasional cheat meal or glass of wine, before going straight back to their healthy routines.
