The best part is there’s no phone or internet so a five-day escape feels like a two-week break. Where did you go for your first trip overseas? SB: Fiji with my then-husband and two kids. I was 25 with my youngest child in nappies – the casual beach environment was perfect timing for toilet training. However, it was also my most disastrous trip – there was some food poisoning, a pool with no water and the babysitter not telling us she was taking the children to the park – that was a scary moment! What is the best place you’ve ever stayed? SB: The most amazing place was Trump SoHo, New York. One side of our room had a view of the Hudson River and from the bathroom we could see straight down to Times Square.
The first night we stayed there, we ordered room service and watched the sun set over the Hudson River. It was incredibly romantic. Have you had a standout moment that will stay with you always? SB: My girlfriend got married on the tiny island of Hydra in Greece. We celebrated with them for a whole week, culminating with the island’s
