The fol­low­ing morn­ing, a trans­fer to the Honolulu Cruise Ter­mi­nal paves the way for seven nights aboard the 2186guest Pride of Amer­ica.

This lux­ury ship is the way to ex­plore Hawaii’s is­lands in style, while en­joy­ing fa­cil­i­ties in­clud­ing 19 din­ing op­tions and 10 bars and lounges.

The ship de­parts at 7pm, giv­ing guests plenty of time to set­tle in and ex­plore the ship be­fore head­ing to the decks for the is­land-style sail­away party.

The first stop is Kahu­lui on Maui, renowned for the warm hos­pi­tal­ity of its res­i­dents. A two-day stay gives plenty of time to ex­plore the town of La­haina, re­lax on a beau­ti­ful beach, have a game of golf or take one of the many shore ex­cur­sions on of­fer.

The wa­ters of Maui are some of the best places in the world to whale-watch ev­ery win­ter.

Then cruise to the is­land of Hawaii, known af­fec­tion­ately as The Big Is­land. The city of Hilo is fa­mous for its flow­ers, giv­ing the at­mos­phere of one big thriv­ing gar­den.

The nearby Hawaii Vol­ca­noes Na­tional Park is the home of the Ki­lauea Vol­cano, vivid proof that the vol­canic ar­chi­pel­ago is still ac­tive.

Pride of Amer­ica then heads to Kona on Hawaii, where more pris­tine beaches beckon. There is no short­age of wa­ter sports to en­joy in the sun.

Next stop is Naw­ilili on Kauai, named af­ter the Wil­i­wili trees on what is known as The Gar­den Is­land. A two-day stay gives am­ple op­por­tu­nity to en­joy the seren­ity of an is­land blessed with cool rain­forests, dra­matic moun­tains and beaches. The cruise sec­tion of the hol­i­day ad­ven­ture fin­ishes the fol­low­ing morn­ing back at Honolulu with a trans­fer to the As­ton Waikiki Cir­cle Ho­tel for three nights.

Be­tween shop­ping, re­lax­ing and ex­plor­ing, there are also tours to en­joy. These in­clude a visit to the Poly­ne­sian Cul­tural Cen­tre, which show­cases eight cul­tures tak­ing in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fiji, Hawaii, Mar­que­sas, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and Easter Is­land.

The visit cul­mi­nates with the ex­cit­ing Ha Breath of Life show fea­tur­ing more than 100 per­form­ers, in­clud­ing Samoan fire knife dancers.

Another shore tour takes guests to the Ari­zona Me­mo­rial as part of a his­tor­i­cal tour.

Re­flect on the cost of war and the shock of the Pearl Har­bor at­tacks while tak­ing in the World War II Val­our in the Pa­cific Na­tional Mon­u­ment and the Punch­bowl Na­tional Ceme­tery. A sep­a­rate op­tion is a visit to the fa­mous USS bat­tle­ship Mis­souri. The deck of the “Mighty Mo” was where the Ja­panese sur­ren­dered, bring­ing an end to the war.

Af­ter the fi­nal night, a trans­fer to the air­port will take guests to a flight to Ade­laide to end a fab­u­lous time.
