CAN any­one who lived in Port Au­gusta in the mid 1930s re­mem­ber when ele­phants were used to shunt rail­way car­riages? WHERE can I dis­pose of mag­a­zines such as Na­tional Ge­o­graphic, In Bri­tain, Scots Mag­a­zine and Coun­try Life in binders, as well as Beau­ti­ful Bri­tain, Life In­ter­na­tional and I want to find out some his­tory be­hind a ra­dio my grand­par­ents gave me years ago. They had it when they ar­rived from Egypt in the 1950s. The sta­tions on the front are for coun­tries and cities in the Mid­dle East. I as­sume the ra­dio is early 1900s. Any in­for­ma­tion would be ap­pre­ci­ated.
