Tilda is Reddy to do jus­tice for He­len

SHE is 53 years younger than the char­ac­ter she is play­ing but there’s no doubt Ade­laide ac­tor Tilda Cob­ham-Her­vey has cap­tured the essence of I Am Woman singer, He­len Reddy.

Cob­ham-Her­vey, a for­mer Mar­ry­atville stu­dent, could eas­ily be mis­taken for the one­time Queen of pop, be­low, who had an amaz­ing 15 sin­gles in Bill­board’s Hot 100 in the 1970s.

Reddy was also the first Aus­tralian to host her own weekly prime-time va­ri­ety show on a US net­work.

The 24-yearold Cob­hamHer­vey was pho­tographed in Syd­ney yes­ter­day dur­ing film­ing of the highly an­tic­i­pated biopic, I Am Woman, dressed head-to-toe in a salmon ’60s-style suit.

The film ex­plore the life of Reddy, the Aus­tralian singer and ac­tor whose most fa­mous an­them was I Am Woman.

Film­ing will also take place in Los An­ge­les and New York.

Cob­ham-Her­vey was in Ade­laide re­cently with ac­tor boyfriend Dev Pa­tel, pro­mot­ing their new movie Ho­tel Mum­bai. She and Pa­tel have been dat­ing since March last year but have kept a low pro­file.
