Tilda is Reddy to do justice for Helen
SHE is 53 years younger than the character she is playing but there’s no doubt Adelaide actor Tilda Cobham-Hervey has captured the essence of I Am Woman singer, Helen Reddy.
Cobham-Hervey, a former Marryatville student, could easily be mistaken for the onetime Queen of pop, below, who had an amazing 15 singles in Billboard’s Hot 100 in the 1970s.
Reddy was also the first Australian to host her own weekly prime-time variety show on a US network.
The 24-yearold CobhamHervey was photographed in Sydney yesterday during filming of the highly anticipated biopic, I Am Woman, dressed head-to-toe in a salmon ’60s-style suit.
The film explore the life of Reddy, the Australian singer and actor whose most famous anthem was I Am Woman.
Filming will also take place in Los Angeles and New York.
Cobham-Hervey was in Adelaide recently with actor boyfriend Dev Patel, promoting their new movie Hotel Mumbai. She and Patel have been dating since March last year but have kept a low profile.
