WHILE Travis Head’s Test de­but last month was a tri­umph for SA cricket, Tea Tree Gully Cricket Club and Head him­self, it wasn’t the state’s or club’s sole con­tri­bu­tion to the pin­na­cle of the sport.

On Tues­day af­ter­noon Rory Burns made his de­but for Eng­land in the First Test against Sri Lanka In Galle.

Burns played for Tea Tree Gully in 2012-13 as part of the Dar­ren Lehmann Cricket Academy pro­gram.
