Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - Dvds -

Video interview profiles with the cast and director and premiere footage. Rarely does Paul Giamatti star in a role these days that doesn’t offer him plenty to sink his teeth into and this melodrama about love and life is no exception. He stars as an aging boozehound and TV producer looking back over 30 years of his colourful personal life including his friendships, marriages and career. It’s an up-and-down tale in which Giamatti’s jerky character may alienate, but it’s well acted – delightfully in places by him and his supports – and not without charm.
