Don’t be fooled
Facebook video spam: Enticing users with a racy or gross photo, the spam videos are actually viral spam. If you want to see the video, search for the title on YouTube or Vevo instead.
Facebook chat spam: If a chat box pops up with a URL link, don’t click it. Instead, ask your friend what it is. It may be a viral message they are unaware they posted.
Google+ invites: If you receive an email with a Google+ invite from someone you don’t know, don’t click on it.
LinkedIn messages: If you receive an email about a new message or friend request on LinkedIn, don’t click the link but go to the website instead. Log in to see new messages.
