Boss swaps the high life for burger patty

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - Television - BIANCA DOMJEN Undercover Boss Australia, TDT, Monday, 8.30pm

JB Swift’s chief executive Iain Mars says farewell to his beloved motorbikes, prestige sports cars and pregnant wife, to find out what’s going on behind the scenes of his $ 3 billion meat export company.

With a wig and a creative disguise, the well known boss ( pictured) fronts his employees as Alec George, in an attempt to find inspirational workers who make his company what it is today and to learn what dayto-day life is like for the average JBS worker.

He even has a go at the dangerous task of drafting cattle into smaller groups and the tedious job of packing frozen burger patties.

This season we also meet CEOs from a variety of national companies, including leading Australian beauty salon group, Ella Bache; Great Southern Rail, which operates Australia’s greatest longdistance rail journeys and holidays and Hutchinson Builders, one of the country’s largest privately owned building companies.

There’s also Sodexo, a global provider of on-site services solutions to the resources, defence, corporate, education and aged-care markets and the leading youth not-for-profit organisation, the YMCA.
