This video cam­era is big in every­thing ex­cept size and price. The build qual­ity is high, its form fac­tor is ap­peal­ing and it sits com­fort­ably in your hand with a weight of just 310g. It shoots stan­dard or high­def­i­ni­tion video and comes with 16GB of flash mem­ory built- in, though more can be added. It has anti- shake ca­pa­bil­ity for a more pro­fes­sional look and a wide- an­gle, 29.8mm lens. Its wow fac­tor fea­ture is the built- in pro­jec­tor that lets you show videos eas­ily on any flat sur­face – ceil­ings, in par­tic­u­lar, are fun. It has 30x op­ti­cal and 350x dig­i­tal zoom, face de­tec­tion, ‘‘ golf- shot mode’’, Mini HDMI con­nec­tiv­ity and Dolby Dig­i­tal stereo sound. On the neg­a­tive side, the still cam­era is only rated at 3.3 megapix­els. It comes with com­po­nent, AV and USB ca­bles and a re­mote.
