THE fascinating facts behind the facade of one of Hobart’s quirkiest heritage homes are set to be revealed tomorrow night.

In the new ABC series Who’s Been Sleeping In My House?, archaeologist Adam Ford enters the properties of people across the country to uncover the hidden stories permeating bricks and mortar.

‘‘ It was fabulous really,’’ Ford says. ‘‘ You’ve got this moment in time to engage with the local community and say, ‘ This is your heritage, let’s get amongst it’.’’

And they did. The show has already seen Ford travel to Fremantle in Western Australia, where he investigated the history behind a Victorian sandstone cottage, and tonight he’s at Hobart’s Battery Point ( pictured), home to the most crowded collection of historic buildings in Australia.
