I have been coming down here for 30 years. I took a diving vacation once at the Barrier Reef – it was wonderful. You guys are amazing and I think you have the most incredible wildlife. You have nine of the most deadly creatures in the world and I love the fact that you go ‘ no it’s all right, go in the water’. Box jellyfish, sea- going crocodiles, great whites, sea snakes – but it’s totally safe Robin. And the sharks swim by you and go ‘ I’m OK, I have had enough. I don’t need you little hairy boy’. you believe in global warming because she is so beautiful and sexy and very funny. We worked for two weeks in Sydney together recording in a room and normally in animation you work alone.

voice work behind him now , how did you find working with Hank Azaria?

He is the king of voices – he is really amazing. It was great for me to watch him work because I had seen him do Agador Spartacus in The Birdcage , but to watch him do Sven and how concentrated he was, he was the master. It was like being with the sensei.

Just walk outside. The weather yesterday in Sydney felt like San Francisco – it was cold and wet and I was thinking ‘ what’s going on?’ If it’s not climate change then Mother Nature is having hot flushes. All these storms – I think four days ago in Los Angeles they had hurricane- type winds. It’s like the Wizard of Oz ‘ I’ll get you my pretties – you all had Botox’. Something’s going on.
