MONTE CARLO ( PG)
If I had ‘‘ tween’’ daughters – and I give thanks every day I don’t – I would much rather they watch films where people get ripped apart by psychotic nutters than have this type of princess- y muck warping their minds. All wrapped up in fashion, designer living and other superficialities, it follows a young high school graduate and her sister and best friend as they all holiday in Paris – getting mistaken for a British heiress and living like royalty along the way. In a word, it’s awful; in two words, bloody awful.
