Sisters are doing it for themselves

LILY Allen hated the limelight.

So she’s invited a camera crew to film her fade into ’’ normal life’’ – ironic, right?

Dramatically ditching her A- list life of stages and stardom for, well, a reality series, the British potty- mouth is well and truly fed up with the goldmine she’s made. So she is going to make more. Like a trashed- up version of the Kardashians, Lily and her sister Sarah ( both pictured) bare all as they kick off, and promote, their new retail outlet.

Their concept, a vintage clothing boutique that gives people the chance to rent their designer dream for a night if they can’t afford to buy it outright, is not bad. Less promising, it turned out, was the AllenOwen business model: Lily splashes in a quarter of a million pounds from her personal bank account while Sarah, a former nightclub hostess, tries to keep track of it. Oh, and the sisters have a history of not getting on. At all.

But it’s all a touch hypocritical as Allen is sure to pocket more riches than ever as we see just another publicity stunt by the stars.
