Samsung’s Series 8 TV packs more than you may expect into a screen less than 3cm thick. This 55- inch LED- backlit LCD TV not only delivers full high- definition video but can also display active 3D images, with help from battery- powered glasses. Built- in 15- watt speakers deliver Dolby surround sound and, unlike other ‘‘ smart TVS’’, this one comes with built- in wi- fi connectivity that allows users to access Samsung’s TV apps or even surf the internet. It has four HDMI slots and two USB ports. Users will have to shell out $ 69.99 for active 3D glasses and a Skype camera also costs extra. It is worth shopping around because this TV can be had for lower than its recommended price.
