When is a webcam a video camera? When it records as well as streams. Logitech unveiled its 1080p video camera at the Consumer Electronics Show in January and it was one of the hits of the show; when you see it, you will understand why. The c920 allows for high- definition video- calling and recording. It can take 15- megapixel still images and has a Carl Zeiss lens with a 20- step autofocus. Apart from its image quality, it can record in stereo audio with its dual microphones, which are positioned either side of the lens and have automatic noise reduction. Its in- built advanced compression feature allows it to upload video to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Youtube super fast. It has a standard tripod clip and will attach to laptops or LCD or CRT monitors.
