Scotty does his block over noise

A DRAMATIC episode begins when four anxious teams emerge from their houses suffering from a severe lack of sleep.

‘‘ What happened?’’ asks a stern Scott Cam before the story of an incident that jeopardises the entire future of The Block 2012 unfolds.

A minor skirmish involving couple Brad and Lara over shelving pales in significance next to the drama caused by rogue angle grinding by Melbourne couple Dan and Dani.

Their decision to carry on with loud work deep into the night will not only receive a scolding from fellow contestants but risk all four teams’ relationships with the neighbours. Will they cop a fine or do they face disqualification from tonight’s reveal?

Sydney contestant Mike, who is competing with his brother, Andrew, declared all the teams are in it to win it. Mike has even gone on record saying Dan and Dani are sometimes a little ungracious when it came to the challenges.

‘‘ They are who they are, but they don’t behave in the way I would go about things,’’ he said. ‘‘ Screaming in someone’s face isn’t the most humble in victory or competition.’’
