Takes flight

through me from that place. It lends itself to the greater good of our earth and I am able to connect with a lot of very inspiring activists and people doing good things on this planet as a result of that.

With the platform and audience you have, do you view that activism as an opportunity or a responsibility?

Opportunity. We all have choices. My respect of the spirit of the music that comes through me is more a responsibility to not involve my ego and respect that gift, not try to understand it but just be true to it.

Music helped you get through your marriage breakup. Has it always been a healing force for you and did it help with this too?

It’s always there so I can’t say what life is like without it. I have always had music coming through me ever since I was a little boy. It’s very comforting and very powerful and quite often it’s ahead of me. A lot of the time I don’t really understand what it all means until later.
